		.Hi Peter, A very nice mail to receive. I managed a PB too which I was delighted with, I was aiming for under 1.45 and managed a shade over 1.40 which I was quite surprised by. Must admit I always go out of my way to thank the marshals and spectators, without them it would be a much harder slog. Thanks for running a great event, I'll be back next year. Dear Mr Evans, Many thanks for this Newsletter. I have run many Wokingham Half’s in recent years and despite the weather the 2011 run was one of the most enjoyable. Very well organised, very supportive marshalls all the way around and very well manned drink stations. Also fellow runners were very supportive when legs began to tire in the last couple of miles. Looking forward to the 2012 run already, God willing. Dear Peter, A massive thank you to you and your superbly organised team. I think Sunday was my 4th Wokingham Half Marathon and yet again, it was brilliantly organised. I always recommend the race to new club members as well as friends as I know it'll never disappoint. It has a true 'club runners' atmosphere that these new corporate organisers would kill to achieve. I was one of the many who did a PB, knocking off almost 6 minutes from last year’s time. The weather was perfect for running, and many thanks to the marshals for standing around in the cold. It was great to see Liz Yelling running back along the route after she finished. I saw her somewhere near the 11-mile point. See you again next year for sure. Dear Peter This is the second time I’ve ran this half and just wanted to congratulate the organising committee on what is a great event. The marshals are friendly and always encourage the runners and there are frequent well-spaced water stations – every time I felt thirsty there was a reassuring “Water Station ahead sign”. Hi I just wanted to thank you all for organising today’s event. I thought it was excellent – well organised, nice route, good field of runners, great support from the marshals, good signposting in the town, good value, etc. This was my first outing at Wokingham but I definitely hope to return. The only thing I’d like to see changed next time is less head-on wind down Maidenhead Rd/ Warren House Rd on the return leg please. J That was quite punishing at miles 11 and 12, together with the slight inclines. Funnily enough I didn’t notice the benefit of the wind when going in the opposite direction! Well done all! Hi You may remember that I emailed you just before Christmas with some concerns about this year's half marathon, after reading some negative comments on the Runner's World website. I would just like to say that my concerns were unneccesary as having completed the race this morning, I must say that the whole event was superb. The marshalls were excellent, baggage facilities were well-managed and easy to use, timing was instantaneous...I could go-on, but I guess you're busy with the post-run admin right now. Suffice to say that I will certainly be back next year, and I have added my own positive comment to the event listing on runner's world. Thanks again for a great race. A.
